Here’s a beautiful new print from the late great extra legendary Ghanaian artist Mark Anthony!! One of the most prolific artists ever in Ghana, he was a famous billboard painter from the 70’s through the 2000’s best known for his psychedelic artwork promoting Highlife music parties. It wasn’t until much later in his career that he made movie posters. The funny thing was that most of his movie posters did not advertise actual movies!!! We were blessed to know him and work with him in his later years, he was family to Kofi from Deadly Prey in Accra, and we continue to honor him daily.
Normally all profits from the prints we sell go directly to the artists we work with in Ghana, but for this print that money will go to Mark Anthony’s family 🕊️
