The late great Ghanaian artist Leonardo’s version of the Fantastic Planet is truly a unique piece of art for the ages. The French / Czech feature by Rene Laloux from 1973 won a special jury award at Cannes back then because no one had ever seen such a unique animated film! We’re in the the business of making art that’s disconnected and often stranger than the original feature, but honestly Fantastic Planet is so perfect and surreal naturally that it’s almost impossible to outdo the original 😆 How happy we are to offer Leonardo’s beautiful interpretation as our 93rd limited edition archival print release with Static Medium.
Here’s some details on the nicest prints in existence: Archival Giclée Prints on Cotton Rag Paper (290 GSM). Each measures 24x36” (61x92 cm), hand numbered and embossed with the Deadly Prey Logo. Limited Editions of 25 per title. Photographed and printed at Static Medium in LA. Every week or two on Friday or Saturday we release a new limited edition print. Once they’re gone they are gone!
These giant, exquisite prints will ship from LA via FedEx rather than UPS from Chicago, so we can’t combine shipping with them on any of our other products. We can however combine shipping on multiple giclée prints. Please allow 7-14 days from order date to ship. As always, 100% of profits from these prints go to the artists we work with in Ghana ❤️🇬🇭❤️
